(Dough) Nuts About the Details

< Playing around in the kitchen

Maria’s doughnuts are the kind that make you stop mid-bite and smile. Warm, crispy, and covered in just the right amount of chocolate and sprinkles — they’re fast becoming an ipyum favorite, right alongside her homemade banana chips and our house rooibos-cinnamon tea.

While we build the resort, we’re also learning how to live and work as a team. One of the unexpected gifts of doing this slowly is the chance to grow — not just the buildings, but the culture. Every day on Batanta teaches us something new, and every shared meal brings us a little closer to the kind of place we want to become.

We’re not open yet, but ipyum is already alive in spirit — one doughnut at a time.
